Barely a week after the EC opened nominations for clubs and associations in KINGS UNIVERSITY COLLEGE, the battle is already heating up. It’s at a point where the ‘beef’ we witnessed between Solomon Adongo and Richmond Amofa Sarpong during the 2020/2021 SRC Presidential election’s Between Richmond Amofa Sarpong and Bashiru Salifu Zibo seems to have resurfaced.
Well, most students had the believe that this ‘banter’ between them would have ceased after the election ended and H. E. Bashiru Salifu Zibo got sworn into office by the then Chief Justice, Lukman Afuwape.
On Thursday, 15th July, 2021, around the hours of 20:49, Mr. Richmond Amofa Sarpong, (known as RAS or Richie), sent an audio accompanied with a message and a picture of Solomon Adongo, cautioning and appealing to students to reject the candidature of Solomon Adongo as the Law Students’ Union’s President.

One of the mission of our union has always been and continues to be to nurture not just well rounded legal professionals, but also to groom leaders capable of positively influencing and impacting on all areas of society.
The Position of LSU PRESIDENT is a very high office that must not be occupied by anyone who lacks the PERSONALITY & CAPACITY to occupy same. KUC LSU at this time needs a leader who is a UNIFIER & a Leader who has respect for all students irrespective of your age or Political class.
POSITIONS available at all faculties at KUC isn’t for persons who have formed political parties and are seeking to push their people into every hole for their selfish Political Interest.*I ENTREAT ALL MY TEAMING SUPPORTERS, FRIENDS & ALL LAW STUDENTS IN KINGS UNIVERISTY COLLEGE LAW FACULTY TO REJECT SOLOMON ADONGO AS AN LSU PRESIDENT. *
The LSU of KUC’s future depends on your choice to elect a man/woman who has a great personality, Influence, humility and above all great human relations to help the Union.
I will do everything legally and socially possible in my will to help law students decide well and not make any mistake in electing any one like Solomon Adongo, who talks more and do little and who can’t deliver excellence to the members of the Union to be President.
I shall continue the meetings with the rest of the law students on why this boy isn’t fit to lead them to represent KUC amongst law faculties like UG/KNUST/GIMPA Etc.

Reject ❌❌❌ SOLOMON ADONGO now & save the LSU of KUC !!! 💮
The students body, most especially those from the Law faculty, received the message with mixed feelings. The audio, some tagged as being too emotional while others applauded him for coming out for the interest of the Union.
Others, saw it as an opportunity to lay bare their frustrations about the SRC president, to a point of…. well, you read it 😂
We await to see how this event unfolds…
